5 Day Mantobeni Tented Lodge Safari

The 15 well-spaced tents are nestled in a Tamboti grove on a dry riverbed. The main building comprises a large open bar area, infinity pool, and comfortable sun lounges from where you can watch wildlife drinking at the nearby waterhole. The tents offer an open veranda elevated on a wooden platform for maximum relaxation. Itinerary

DAY 1: Johannesburg – Dulini Leadwood

You will be collected from your address in Johannesburg early in the morning to travel eastwards via the N4 through the Highveld of Gauteng and Mpumalanga, down the escarpment and into the western part of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve.

During the drive of about six hours, you will stop for refreshments and reach the lodge around mid-day.

You will have time to freshen up and relax before departing on an open safari vehicle for an afternoon game drive in the reserve.

Back at the lodge a delicious dinner will await you.

You overnight in your luxury accommodation at Dulini Leadwood and your deal includes lunch and dinner. 

DAY 2,3 and 4: Dulini Leadwood

Expect early wake-up calls and enjoy a hot beverage and rusks before departing on your game drive to catch some nocturnal animals still out hunting, and witness the sun rising.

On return to the lodge you can enjoy a late breakfast and choose to spend the rest of the day lazing around.

Get your camera ready for the afternoon game drive, which will depart at about 16:00, and return just in time for dinner under African skies.

You overnight in your luxury accommodation at Dulini Leadwood and your deal includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. 

DAY 5: Dulini Leadwood – Johannesburg

On the last day of your safari you rise early again, enjoy your hot beverage and rusk, and depart on the final game drive.

After experiencing another African sunrise, you return to the lodge for breakfast before departing to Johannesburg. You will arrive at your drop-off point at approximately 17:00.

Your deal today includes breakfast at the lodge.
