A self-drive safari provides some of the best possibilities to view wildlife and ensures that you will have times of complete and utter solitude in the middle of nowhere.
The southern part of Kruger National Park, which includes the Sabie River basin and the central grasslands, is where visitors have the best chance of seeing lions, while the mixed woodlands and many watering holes are where they are most likely to see elephants.
