Camp Shawu is the epitome of that picture of the ‘real Africa’ painted by famous explorers during colonial times.
The suites are built out of authentic Buffalo dung walls and have decks overlooking the dam where many animals come down to drink during the day. Guests can experience excellent game viewing from the decks of the camp and can go on game viewing drives with expert guides.
Little Bush Camp is decorated in contemporary African-chic and comprises six luxury suites with thatched roofs and plush furnishings. Romantically draped mosquito nets over comfortable beds and beautiful wooden finishes complete the picture. Each suite is air-conditioned, has a private viewing deck and heated spa bath, as well as an en suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers. All suites’ decks sport magical views overlooking the river.
Nkorho Bush Lodge is a real African Jewel. Situated in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve which shares an unfenced border with the Kruger National Park, an abundance of wildlife can be enjoyed here. Join us on a full day (9 hours) private, guided, open-vehicle safari drive into the Kruger National Park from any hotel or address in Hazyview. Enjoy the time with your safari guide in search of the Big 5 (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant) as well as many other animals that inhabit the national park. Please note that all rates exclude the daily conservation fees of R460.00 per person.
The Village chalets are stylish yet budget conscious. Each room has some unique decorative flourishes, but all of them are perfectly appointed to ensure maximum comfort at a budget price. Each chalet is perfectly air conditioned (pleasant throughout the whole year – but really desirable in Southern Hemisphere summer months). They also have an en-suite shower/wet room, crisp clean linen on wonderfully comfortable beds, with a daily housekeeping and turn down service. Outside each room is a patio on which to enjoy some quiet time.
Day 1:
Upon your arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to the Shearwater Explorers Village. Check-in to your comfortable accommodations and settle in. In the evening, embark on a guided Dinner Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi River. Enjoy a scenic cruise, indulge in a delicious dinner, and witness the breathtaking African sunset.
Day 2:
After breakfast at the village, join a guided tour of the magnificent Victoria Falls. Explore the various viewpoints, marvel at the sheer power and beauty of the falls, and learn about their fascinating history and significance. After the tour, you have the rest of the day to yourself to further explore the falls or engage in optional activities and experiences.
Day 3:
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the village and spend the day at your leisure. You can relax at the village and make use of its amenities, take a dip in the pool, or simply unwind in the tranquil surroundings. Alternatively, venture out to discover more of Victoria Falls and its surrounding attractions, engage in adventure activities, or visit local markets for shopping and cultural experiences.
Day 4:
After breakfast, check-out from Shearwater Explorers Village and transfer back to Victoria Falls Airport for your departure. Take with you lasting memories of your time at this enchanting destination.
