3-Day Classic Kruger Park Safari

Guests stay in traditional 2-sleeper bungalows in Pretoriuskop Rest Camp in the Kruger National Park.

Facilities include an en-suite bathroom with shower, air-conditioning, twin beds equipped with SANParks linen, blankets and towels, a kitchenette with small fridge and tea/coffee-making facilities. There are mosquito netting on windows and doors and electrical lights and plug points.

A family guest cottage can be requested, depending on availability. It has a small lounge and kitchenette, as well as two bedrooms that can accommodate two adults and two children.

All accommodation is strictly non-smoking.

Breakfast and dinner are prepared in a private section of the rest camp’s camp kitchen and served in our open-air dining tent or in the camp restaurant if it rains.

The rest camp has a take-out restaurant and a Park shop for drinks and snacks. Please note that no alcohol may be consumed on the open safari vehicles during game drives, so only use it before or after leaving for game drives.

An enormous swimming pool built around a massive granite rock is a unique feature of the historic rest camp.

The camp has cell phone service but no Wi-Fi. To access the internet while on vacation in the Kruger Park, purchase a Sim card with Pay as You Go data.

Guests are collected from Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport between 7:00 and 7:30. Collections from any other Johannesburg hotels or addresses are possible at additional rates.

Guests are dropped off at Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport around 17:00, other hotels or addresses can be arranged at additional rates.

Kruger Safari Company Tours and its service providers provide cost-effective transfers for groups of 2 – 12 people per vehicle; please let us know if you prefer a private tour (additional rates may apply).

Keep in mind that if you plan to fly out of OR Tambo International Airport on the last day of the safari tour, we recommend booking a domestic flight no earlier than 19:30 and an international flight no earlier than 21:00.

5 Day Karongwe River Lodge Safari

You will be assigned on of 11 spacious and air-conditioned suites, with an en-suite bathroom. The lodge offers guests a choice of five Luxury, two Family and two Executive Suites, as well as two Presidential Suites enjoying their own private plunge pools. The lodge offers an enchanting view over the Makhutsi River and the spacious lounge area leading onto a deck allow the perfect opportunity to view game. 5 Day Umkumbe Lodge Safari

The lodge sleeps a maximum of 20 guests in 10 chalets or rooms, most of which sporting a small veranda with camping chairs and with views of the river, while others have views of a small plains area with a watering hole. Accommodation is comfortable and suitable for those looking for a value for money option in the Sabi Sand. All rooms are en-suite and airconditioned. Some rooms are set up to allow families or small parties of three friends with separate but connected rooms. Umkumbe has three Standard and seven Superior rooms, with the latter larger with outdoor en-suite showers.

5 Day Londolozi Founders Camp Safari

At Londolozi Founders Camp you will not only experience the African wilderness but feel one with those that have built the reserve. Built in the shade of ancient Ebony and Matumi trees along the banks of the Sand River, the enchanting and intimate Founders Camp is ideally situated for a view of river life. Containing a touch of bush bohemia, Founders Camp radiates a young and vibrant energy that appeals to discerning individuals and modern families. Itinerary

DAY 1: JOHANNESBURG – KAPAMA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE – FLY IN

Departing from the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport at mid-day on a 50min flight to the Hoedspruit Airport. The flight route to the Kruger National Park in the Mpumalanga Province takes you from the wide-open spaces of the Highveld, down the escarpment and through the scenic Lowveld region.

Arrive at the Kapama Southern Camp mid-day, in time for a light lunch. Freshen up and relax before it’s time to depart on a late-afternoon game drive in Kapama Private Game Reserve.

Overnight at Kapama Southern Camp. Guests dine in the lodge restaurant or at the outdoor boma.

DAY 2: KAPAMA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE

Wake up early (5h30-6h00) for hot beverages and rusks before departing for a 3-hour sunrise game drive in Kapama Private Game Reserve. Return to your lodge for a late breakfast and spend the rest of the day relaxing at the pool or treating yourself to a spa session. Depart late afternoon after High Tea for a 3-hour sunset game drive in the private reserve, with a pitstop for sundowners in the bush.
