4 Day Thornybush Game Lodge Safari

The thatched main area speaks of sophistication in the design and layout, and overlooks a waterhole and riverbed often visited by elephants, buffalo and other large game. The classic lower deck is flanked by an open dining area and a beautiful bar while 20 luxurious suites fan out from the main area. Two of them are family Suites, while 18 of them is built with magnificent river-facing views. Itinerary

DAY 1: JOHANNESBURG – KAPAMA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE – FLY IN

Departing from the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport at mid-day on a 50min flight to the Hoedspruit Airport. The flight route to the Kruger National Park in the Mpumalanga Province takes you from the wide-open spaces of the Highveld, down the escarpment and through the scenic Lowveld region.

Arrive at the Kapama Southern Camp mid-day, in time for a light lunch. Freshen up and relax before it’s time to depart on a late-afternoon game drive in Kapama Private Game Reserve.

Overnight at Kapama Southern Camp. Guests dine in the lodge restaurant or at the outdoor boma.

DAY 2: KAPAMA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE

Wake up early (5h30-6h00) for hot beverages and rusks before departing for a 3-hour sunrise game drive in Kapama Private Game Reserve. Return to your lodge for a late breakfast and spend the rest of the day relaxing at the pool or treating yourself to a spa session. Depart late afternoon after High Tea for a 3-hour sunset game drive in the private reserve, with a pitstop for sundowners in the bush.

Overnight at Kapama Southern Camp. Guests dine in the lodge restaurant or at the outdoor boma.

DAY 3: KAPAMA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE – JOHANNESBURG – FLY OUT

Head out as the sun is rising to enjoy your last game drive in Kapama Private Game Reserve. Return to your lodge for breakfast and be ready to depart mid-morning for the return flight to the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport . mpany representative before booking a connecting domestic or international flight.
