Kapama Southern Camp is a family-friendly Big 5 safari destination in the Greater Kruger National Park, located in Kapama Private Game Reserve. Nkorho Bush Lodge accommodates a maximum of sixteen guests in eight stylish yet homely en-suite thatched chalets. The accommodations offer a relaxed atmosphere in luxurious surroundings, where guests will experience sheer contentment and tranquillity. Guests can enjoy hearty breakfasts under a thatched deck overlooking an open plain while dinners are enjoyed around an open fire in a typical leadwood boma. Afternoons can be spent cooling off in a unique rock pool before going on a game drive as the day closes. A laundry service is also available on request.

Itinerary

DAY 1: Johannesburg – Nkorho Bush Lodge

You will be collected from your address in Johannesburg early in the morning to travel eastwards via the N4 through the Gauteng and Mpumalanga highveld and down the escarpment and into the Sabi Sand Game Reserve next to the Kruger National Park.

During the drive of about six hours, you will stop for refreshments and reach the lodge around mid-day.

You will have time to freshen up and relax a while before departing for an afternoon game drive in the reserve on an open safari vehicle.

Back at the lodge a delicious starlit dinner will await you.

You overnight in your luxury accommodation at Nkorho Bush Lodge and your deal includes lunch and dinner. 

DAY 2,3 and 4: Nkorho Bush Lodge

Your wake-up call will come early for time to enjoy a hot beverage and rusks before departing on your early morning game drive to still catch some nocturnal animals out hunting, and witness the sun rising over the bushveld.

On return to the lodge you can enjoy a late breakfast and spend the rest of the day lazing around the pool.

Get your camera and a jacket ready for the afternoon game drive, which will depart around 16:00, to return after sunset and just in time for dinner under African skies.

You overnight in your luxury accommodation at Nkhoro Bush Lodge and your deal includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. 

DAY 5: Nkorho Bush Lodge – Johannesburg

On the last day of your safari you rise early again for a hot beverage and rusk, before going on the final game drive.

After experiencing another African sunrise, you return to the lodge for breakfast before departing to Johannesburg. You will arrive at your drop-off point at approximately 17:00.

Your deal today includes breakfast at the lodge.
