Idube Game Lodge is situated in an indigenous garden of cool, green lawns and tall trees, maintained only with recycled water. The lodge is designed to blend into the bush with rough, natural coloured bricks, while tiled roofs create a cool interior. Guests love to gather in the thatched bar and entertainment areas while the open lounge is a splendid place to relax and wait for animals to come grazing in front of the lodge. Guests can watch game from a number of viewing platforms around the camp and from a sunken hide at a dam directly opposite the lodge. Idube is also home to families of nyala and warthogs, seen almost daily around the lodge area.
The intimate Tanda Tula Safari Camp is nestled amongst enormous trees on the banks of the Nlharalumi Riverbed and comprises just secluded 12 tents for up to 24 guests. Children older than six years are welcome. Each elegant canvas tent sports a private deck and en- suite bathroom with an indoor bath and outdoor shower, while the main section of the lodge has a bar, lounge, dining room, swimming pool overlooking the watering hole, viewing deck and bird hide.
Kambaku River Sands is located on the banks of a dry riverbed in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve on the western border of the Kruger National Park in South Africa’s Limpopo province. The lodge is unfenced and allows for game like elephant, buffalo and bushbuck, to roam freely, making it an ideal game viewing spot. Both animal lovers and birding enthusiasts can experience nature first-hand here while staying in deluxe suites. This safari lodge is elegantly decorated with authentic African furniture in neutral colours and guests can relax in the spa area or at a swimming pool too. Game drives will take you to the heart of the bush, to spot more animals and take amazing photographs. An optional overnight sleep-out can expose more adventurous spirits to the core of the African bush.
The luxury safari lodge is best known for its striking contemporary architectural design, isolated location and magnificent views over the seasonally-dry Mohlabetsi River. No effort has been spared to deliver an exclusive safari experience where the ultra-chic facilities of a modern safari lodge blend seamlessly with its stunning natural surrounds. The suites lie nestled in a riverine forest, and are carefully positioned on the escarpment so they feel completely private. Floor-to-roof glass-fronted interiors lead out onto private decks with panoramic views of the Balule bushveld. It’s an eco-conscious lodge so there is no air-conditioning but the suites are cleverly designed to keep cool and warm in different seasons. Children 12 years and older are welcome at Greenfire Game Lodge.
Guests are picked up early in Johannesburg and driven to the Greater Kruger in a luxury tour vehicle. It’s a 5-6 hour drive, with a refreshment stop along the way. Arrive mid-day, have a light lunch and relax around camp before it’s time to depart for a late-afternoon game drive in Balule Private Game Reserve. Return to camp as the sun is setting and enjoy a fun communal dinner around the firepit on warm evenings.

Set off as the sun is rising for your last game drive in Balule Game Reserve. Enjoy a late breakfast on your return before checking out. We depart late-morning for the return journey to Johannesburg. Arrive at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg late afternoon (approx 17h00).
