Bush Lodge was designed to allow ample space to unwind, relax and savour the tranquillity of the bush. The thatched main area speaks of sophistication in the design and layout, and overlooks a waterhole and riverbed often visited by elephants, buffalo and other large game. The classic lower deck is flanked by an open dining area and a beautiful bar while 20 luxurious suites fan out from the main area. Two of them are family Suites, while 18 of them is built with magnificent river-facing views. All are totally private and stylishly decorated with large windows above the bath and giant sliding doors to the deck offering incredible views of the riverbed and animals that may visit. Each of the 18 luxury suites has an en-suite bathroom, indoor and outdoor shower and was designed to provide space and privacy. Elegant finishes and extremely comfortable beds complete the picture.

The 4-day Hoyo Hoyo safari tour takes guests to the heart of the Kruger National Park to the Mluwati Concession. Hoyo Hoyo Tsonga Lodge is one of three luxury safari lodges in the concession and promises guests luxurious accommodation in a spectacular setting and an outstanding safari experience. The private concessions within the iconic Kruger National Park are areas of land where carefully selected operators have a license to offer all the benefits of a luxury safari lodge on a private reserve. Guests staying at Hoyo Hoyo Tsonga Lodge enjoy game drives in an open safari vehicle within the private concession as well as the Kruger Park itself.
Due to the Hoyo Hoyo Safari Lodge being located deep into the Kruger National Park, we do recommend rather recommend considering flying into the Hoedspruit airport for this safari package.
Departing from the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport Bus Terminal by 07:00am, it’s a 5-6 hour drive from Johannesburg to Hoyo Hoyo Tsonga Lodge in the Kruger National Park; We take the scenic route through the historic towns of the Panorama Route and to the town of Hoedspruit with scheduled stops for bathroom breaks and leg stretches.
Arrive mid-day in the Mluwati Concession and into Hoyo Hoyo Tsonga Lodge. Enjoy a light meal and freshen up before departing late afternoon for a game drive on an open safari vehicle. Sundowners at a special vantage point.

You’ll be driven to Hoedspruit mid-morning to catch the shuttle bus back to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.
