The 5-night/6-day Kruger safari tour offers a different and exciting trip to guests who don’t mind roughing it slightly to enjoy the privilege of a unique African bushveld experience. Guests stay in rustic but comfortable treehouses at a bushveld lodge.
Southern Camp is the newest addition to Kapama Private Game Reserve and was set up with the whole family in mind. There are 15 luxury ensuite Suites and 10 new-built Villas, which includes 3 spacious Family Villas. Each suite and villa is air-conditioned and stylishly decorated in a contemporary fusion of African-safari chic décor. The Family Villas have their own private plunge pool, otherwise you can spend time relaxing on the expansive wooden deck around a sparkling pool. The 3-day Imbali safari tour takes guests to the heart of the Kruger National Park to the Mluwati Concession. Glorious days at Imbali Safari Lodge are spent exploring the vast wilderness region on sunrise and sunset game drives and enjoying hours of relaxation and pampering back at the lodge, as well as a magical “sofa safari” from the privacy of their own viewing deck. The private concessions within the iconic Kruger National Park are areas of land where carefully selected operators have a license to offer all the benefits of a luxury safari lodge on a private reserve. Guests staying at Imbali Lodge are taken on game drives in an open safari vehicle within the private concession and have access to the public roads of Kruger Park.
At Saseka Tented Camp you can find a home in the African wilderness, one where you can enjoy an out-of-the-ordinary safari experience in comfort and luxury. Saseka has been described as a shining jewel in the Thornybush crown while Thornybush is one of the original nature reserves in the Greater Kruger National Park. Situated on the banks of the Monwana River, a lodge with a unique layout and balance between cutting-edge design and classical style was created to make guests feel connected to the outside environment. Hamiltons Tented Camp is an exclusive safari destination located in northern Mpumalanga Province on a 10 000 hectare private concession in the iconic Kruger National Park. It’s named after Colonel Stephenson Hamilton who was instrumental in establishing the national park which is the oldest and largest one in Africa. Hamiltons Tented Camp captures the romance and elegance of the pioneering safari era with its themed ‘Out of Africa’ décor. Luxurious features include antique hip baths, an outdoor shower, dreamy beds draped in breezy mosquito nets, cooling air-conditioning and warm fires in winter as well as Nomadic African spa treatments which you can have in the comfort of your safari tent. Dining at Hamiltons Tented Camp is a decadent affair, complete with fine crystal wine glasses, pewter silver water jugs and elegantly-dressed butlers waiting attentively on you.
Due to the Hamilton’s Tented Camp being located deep into the Kruger National Park, we do recommend rather recommend considering flying into the Hoedspruit airport for this safari package.
Departing from the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport Bus Terminal by 07:00am and driven to the Kruger National Park in a luxury tour vehicle. It’s about a 6 hour drive from Johannesburg to Hamiltons Tented Camp, with a stop along the way for snacks and refreshments. Arrive mid-day, enjoy a light lunch and relax around the camp before it’s time to depart for a late afternoon game drive in the Mluwati Concession. Return to camp as the sun is setting and enjoy a 3-course dinner at the fine-dining restaurant.

Wake up early for hot beverages and breakfast pastries before it’s time to depart for the morning Big 5 game drive. Your professional game ranger has the option of staying within Mluwati Concession which may only be traversed by safari lodges operating in the private concession, or venturing further for incredible wildlife and bird sightings in the rest of Kruger Park.
Return to camp for a late breakfast and an afternoon of relaxation around the pool or pampering in the comfort of your safari tent. Enjoy a light lunch and High Tea at the main lodge and be ready to depart late afternoon for a game drive. Dinner is served back at the camp.

Arrive at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg late afternoon (between 17h00-18h00).
