Becks Safari Lodge is set in the Karongwe Private Game Reserve on the banks of the Makhutswi River, where you stay in a safari suite bordering the river or overlooking a waterhole.
You will be collected from OR Tambo International Airport and driven through the wide-open spaces of the Highveld, via the N4 motorway through the scenic JG Strydom Tunnel towards Tzaneen to arrive at Becks Safari Lodge by mid-day, in time for a light lunch.
After lunch there is some time to relax before it is time to depart on a late-afternoon game drive in the reserve where you can enjoy a sundowner while the sun sets over the magnificent Drakensberg Mountains.
You will arrive back at the lodge just in time for dinner.
You overnight in a luxury suite at Becks Safari Lodge and your stay includes lunch and dinner.
After your wake-up call at 05:00 you can brace yourself for the day with a hot beverage and rusks before departing on your first three-hour sunrise game drive in the reserve.
You will return to the lodge for a late breakfast and can spend the rest of the day relaxing at the pool or in the lounge area. Your afternoon game drive will commence at about 16:00, to return around 19:00 in time for dinner.
You overnight in your luxury suite at Becks Safari Lodge and your stay includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Repeating the procedures of the previous days, you have one last opportunity for game viewing and a glorious African sunrise in the reserve, before returning to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. You will depart mid-morning on your return journey to Johannesburg and arrive at OR Tambo International Airport by late afternoon – approximately 17:00.
Your deal today includes breakfast at the lodge.
