The 15 well-spaced tents are nestled in a Tamboti grove on a dry riverbed. The main building comprises a large open bar area, infinity pool, and comfortable sun lounges from where you can watch wildlife drinking at the nearby waterhole. The tents offer an open veranda elevated on a wooden platform for maximum relaxation. They are furnished with soft leather couches, extra length beds, mosquito nets and open air en-suite bathrooms. Due to the layout and terrain, only children older than 12 years are allowed. Other features include a fan, mosquito net, reading material, bottled water and homely comforts.
A welcoming ambience of laid back luxury awaits guests at Dulini Lodge. The main lodge boasts tranquil lounging areas with deep couches and contemporary African accents and a cool veranda with magnificent views of the wilderness beyond. Spacious accommodation is provided in six exquisite thatched suites on the banks of the riverbed, each with private plunge pools and a private view of the riverbed, romantic interiors with canopies of mosquito nets and beautiful bathrooms.
You can experience the real magic of Africa at Umlani Bush Camp, a beautifully designed eco lodge in the pristine wilderness of the central Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. Fences between the Timbavati and the Kruger National Park had been removed to allow for wildlife migration in what became known as the Greater Kruger National Park. The bush camp is both off the grid and the beaten tourist track, offering intimate wildlife encounters, award-winning meals and a chance to reconnect with unspoilt nature. Umlani was founded in 1989 by Marco and Marie-Louise Schiess who created a true African adventure in a camp built from natural materials in a traditional African style that blends in with the environment.
