The 5-night/6-day Kruger safari offers guests a genuine African safari experience, staying in rustic but comfortable accommodation in the Greater Kruger which shares an unfenced border with the iconic Kruger National Park.
Tshokwane River Camp is a unique and exclusive place hidden in an undiscovered part of the world-famous Kruger National Park only an hour from Skukuza Airport.
It has 30 luxury tents that can sleep up to 60 people. The rustic and exclusive atmosphere of the camp, which is next to a dry riverbed, gives tourists a chance to forget about the outside world and focus on the beauty of the wild.
The Lodge only open for a limited time from the 01st July 2023 – 30th September 2023 and then again from the 01st May 2024 – 30th September 2024.
Camp Shonga is that small intimate bush retreat that you have dreamt about all your life. Built in pristine bush in the foothills of the Lebombo Mountains, it mainly offers views over the African bushveld.
Kambaku Safari Lodge is an intimate family-friendly safari lodge in the pristine Timbavati Private Nature Reserve in the Greater Kruger conservation area in Limpopo. This safari lodge breathes a relaxed and casual atmosphere, where guests can watch the antics of a resident warthog family and enjoy exciting morning and evening game drives with experienced rangers in open safari vehicles, tracking the Big 5. Guests can also set off on bush walks to see the smaller wildlife or relax by the pool. Kambaku Safari Lodge is ideal for family adventures with a children’s programme aimed at educating and entertaining young minds. A welcoming ambience of laid back luxury awaits guests at Dulini Lodge. The main lodge boasts tranquil lounging areas with deep couches and contemporary African accents and a cool veranda with magnificent views of the wilderness beyond. Spacious accommodation is provided in six exquisite thatched suites on the banks of the riverbed, each with private plunge pools and a private view of the riverbed, romantic interiors with canopies of mosquito nets and beautiful bathrooms.
Departing from the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport Bus Terminal by 07:00am, travel eastwards via the N4 motorway through the Highveld of Gauteng and Mpumalanga, down the escarpment and into the western part of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve.
During the drive of about six hours, you will stop for refreshments and reach the lodge around mid-day.
You will have time to freshen up and relax before departing on an open safari vehicle for an afternoon game drive in the reserve.
Back at the lodge a delicious dinner will await you.
You overnight in your luxury accommodation at Dulini Lodge and your deal includes lunch and dinner.Â
Expect early wake-up calls and enjoy a hot beverage and rusks before departing on your game drive to catch some nocturnal animals still out hunting, and witness the sun rising.
On return to the lodge you can enjoy a late breakfast and choose to spend the rest of the day lazing around.
Get your camera ready for the afternoon game drive, which will depart at about 16:00, and return just in time for dinner under African skies.

On the last day of your safari you rise early again, enjoy your hot beverage and rusk, and depart on the final game drive.
After experiencing another African sunrise, you return to the lodge for breakfast before departing to Johannesburg. You will arrive at your drop-off point at approximately 17:00.
Your deal today includes breakfast at the lodge.
