The journey continues to the Greenfire game lodge, nestled within the Balule private game reserve, offering an immersive wildlife experience. On a genuine self-drive safari through Kruger National Park, you will have the opportunity to go on an adventure in search of the “Big Five” animals of Africa: the elephant, lion, rhinoceros, leopard, and buffalo. You will also encounter several other species of exotic wildlife.

If you yearn for an unrivalled African Safari experience, Chisomo Safari Camp on the Makhutsi River deep in the Karongwe Game Reserve in Limpopo, is your ideal destination. Chisomo Safari Camp offers a warm atmosphere, friendly staff and fine cuisine to complement the excellent Big 5 game viewing of the reserve. You will reach the Karongwe Game Reserve and the lodge after a scenic drive via the N4 motorway through eMalahleni (Witbank), Middleburg, Dullstroom, Ohrigstad and the JG Strydom Tunnel towards Tzaneen.
You will be collected from OR Tambo International Airport and driven through the wide-open spaces of the Highveld, via the N4 motorway through the scenic JG Strydom Tunnel towards Tzaneen to arrive at Chisomo Safari Camp by mid-day, in time for a light lunch.
After lunch there is some time to relax before it is time to depart on a late-afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner will be served in the dining area or outside under the stars (weather permitting).
You overnight in a luxury tented suite at Chisomo Safari Camp and your stay includes lunch and dinner.Â
Your wake-up call at 05:00 will just give you time for a hot beverage and rusks before departing for a three-hour sunrise game drive in the reserve.
You will return to the lodge for a late breakfast and can spend the rest of the day relaxing at the pool or in the lounge area. Your afternoon game drive will commence at about 16:00, to return around 19:00 in time for dinner in the dining area or outside under the stars (weather permitting).
You overnight in your luxury tented suite at Chisomo Safari Camp and your stay includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
You repeat the procedure of the previous day and enjoy your last game drive in the reserve while the sun is rising, followed by a hearty breakfast before departing mid-morning on your return journey to Johannesburg.
You will arrive at OR Tambo International Airport during late afternoon – approximately 17:00.
Your deal today includes breakfast at the lodge.
