4 Day Pondoro Lodge Safari

Pondoro Game Lodge is located on the banks of the Olifants River inside the Balule Nature Reserve. 5 Day Elephant Plains Safari

Elephant Plains Game Lodge opened its doors in 1998 and has been in the same family ever since. The lodge is situated on the dry Manyeleti riverbed, overlooking an open veld and watering hole. The main building houses a reception area, dining areas, lounge, bar and wine cellar, as well as a curio shop for those souvenirs.  It can accommodate a maximum of 24 guests, guaranteeing a warm, friendly atmosphere and personal service.

4 Day Shishangeni Lodge Safari

The lodge offers big five game viewing, superior service, excellent cuisine, and accommodation in the form of luxury chalets and tents in the Mpanamana Concession. The lodge can accommodate 44 guests in 22 individual chalets, with units decorated in contemporary style with earthy colours/ Each unit comes fitted with mosquito nets, sports a balcony with a view, en-suite bathrooms, outside shower, air conditioning, telephone, mini-bar a fireplace and seating area. Itinerary

DAY 1: Johannesburg – Becks Safari Lodge (approximately 430 kilometres)

You will be collected from OR Tambo International Airport and driven through the wide-open spaces of the Highveld, via the N4 motorway through the scenic JG Strydom Tunnel towards Tzaneen to arrive at Becks Safari Lodge by mid-day, in time for a light lunch.

After lunch there is some time to relax before it is time to depart on a late-afternoon game drive in the reserve where you can enjoy a sundowner while the sun sets over the magnificent Drakensberg Mountains.

You will arrive back at the lodge just in time for dinner.

You overnight in a luxury suite at Becks Safari Lodge and your stay includes lunch and dinner.

DAY 2: Becks Safari Lodge and game viewing in the reserve

After your wake-up call at 05:00 you can brace yourself for the day with a hot beverage and rusks before departing on your first three-hour sunrise game drive in the reserve.

You will return to the lodge for a late breakfast and can spend the rest of the day relaxing at the pool or in the lounge area. Your afternoon game drive will commence at about 16:00, to return around 19:00 in time for dinner.

You overnight in your luxury suite at Becks Safari Lodge and your stay includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

DAY 3: Becks Safari Lodge – Johannesburg

Repeating the procedure of the previous day, you have one last opportunity for game viewing and a glorious African sunrise in the reserve, before returning to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. You will depart mid-morning on your return journey to Johannesburg and arrive at OR Tambo International Airport by late afternoon – approximately 17:00.

Your deal today includes breakfast at the lodge.
