Pondoro Game Lodge is located on the banks of the Olifants River inside the Balule Nature Reserve. There are no fences between the reserve and the Kruger National Park, which means animals move freely between them. Departing from the Johannesburg OR Tambo at mid-day on a 50min flight to the Skukuza Airport located in the heart of the Kruger National Park. The flight route to the Kruger National Park in the Mpumalanga Province takes you over the wide-open spaces of the Highveld, down the escarpment and through the scenic Lowveld region.
You will be collected from the Skukuza Airport, check into your luxury train carriage suite and have time to freshen up, enjoy a light lunch and relax before departing on an open safari vehicle for your first afternoon game drive in the reserve.
Back at the lodge a delicious dinner under starlight will await you.
You overnight in your luxury carriage suite at Shalati Train on the Bridge and your deal includes lunch and dinner.
You will receive an early wake-up call and be served a hot beverage and rusks before departing on your 3-hour game drive while the sun rises in the east.
On return to the lodge you can enjoy a brunch and choose to spend the rest of the day at the pool or just lazing around.
Be ready for an afternoon game drive with an expert guide at about 16:00, to return in time for another starlit dinner.
You overnight in your luxury carriage suite at Shalati Train on the Bridge and your deal includes, breakfast lunch and dinner.
Rise early again, enjoy a hot beverage and rusk, and depart on your last morning game drive.
After witnessing a last African sunrise, you return to the lodge for breakfast before departing to the Skukuza Airport airport mid-morning to catch your departure flight back to the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport.
