The Cape Peninsula in Cape Town is a dramatic and iconic natural landmark. Extending from Table Mountain to the southernmost tip of Cape Town, it is part of the Table Mountain National Park known for its remarkable biodiversity. The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve within the peninsula protects various animal species, including antelope and the rare Cape mountain zebra, as well as a multitude of marine birds. Cape Point, often mistaken as the southernmost tip of Africa, features national heritage monuments dedicated to renowned explorers Vasco da Gama and Bartolomeu Dias.
Idube Game Lodge is situated in an indigenous garden of cool, green lawns and tall trees, maintained only with recycled water. The lodge is designed to blend into the bush with rough, natural coloured bricks, while tiled roofs create a cool interior. Guests love to gather in the thatched bar and entertainment areas while the open lounge is a splendid place to relax and wait for animals to come grazing in front of the lodge. Guests can watch game from a number of viewing platforms around the camp and from a sunken hide at a dam directly opposite the lodge. Departing from the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport Bus Terminal by 07:00am, you will travel east through the farmlands and onto the Kruger National Park.

Set off as the sun is rising for your last game drive in Balule Game Reserve. Enjoy a late breakfast on your return before checking out. We depart late-morning for the return journey to Johannesburg. Arrive at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg late afternoon (approx 17h00).
