Experience the thrill of a 6-day safari adventure in Kruger National Park. Begin by being picked up from Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport and transferred to a comfortable tented camp in Pretoriuskop rest camp. Enjoy an afternoon open vehicle safari, followed by a delightful dinner under the stars. On Day 2, embark on a full day of exploration, with breakfast provided en route and the freedom to choose your own lunch arrangements. Return to the camp for a relaxing dinner. Day 3 takes you to the Greenfire game lodge in Balule private game reserve for off-road safaris. Day 4 and 5 offer immersive open vehicle safaris from Greenfire lodge, observing abundant wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Conclude with a memorable morning safari on Day 6 before departing for Johannesburg. An unforgettable journey through nature’s majesty.
This option lets guests choose the number of days they would like to spend on safari but split between the Kruger National Park and a private lodge in the Greater Kruger. This allows guests a good mix of accommodation types and landscapes to explore while on safari.
An experienced game ranger will show guests the African bush as it has never been seen before as they enjoy a mix of safari game drives, bush walks, relaxation time and fantastic cuisine. Guests will stay in en-suite African chalets in the Kruger National Park and in luxury en-suite rooms in the private reserves.
Safaris depart 7 days a week, pending availability.
Our Budget and Classic Kruger Safaris depart with a minimum of one person with no single supplement for single travelers. Our Combo safaris require a minimum of two persons to depart.
Guests make use of facilities and accommodation situated inside the Kruger National Park, unless forced to stay elsewhere because of availability.
Safaris with accommodation in multiple rest camps are available on request.
This is not a private safari and more-than-likely there will be other guests joining you on the game drives and transfer vehicles.
Children are welcome, subject to availability.
Children under 6 years of age are not allowed on SAN Parks open game drive vehicles.
Children under 12 years of age are not allowed on SANParks bush walks.
Private game drives for families can be arranged at an extra charge.
Guests flying out of OR Tambo Airport are urged NOT to book flights earlier than 19:00 (domestic flights) or 20:00 (international flights), in order to have sufficient time to get to the airport. Or even better – spend the night in Johannesburg if possible.
You will be held responsible for any missed flight, or flights not booked at a suitable time.
Private transfers for guests with early flights can be arranged in advance at an extra charge.

Baobab Ridge Private Lodge is a small and intimate private lodge with only seven private free-standing suites that sleep a maximum of 16 guests. The main lodge features a bar and lounge area, satellite television, free Wi-Fi, outdoor terraces, guest bathrooms and a large dining room while outside is an open-air boma area with a fireplace and a swimming pool that overlooks the surrounding bush and a small waterhole. The lodge is wheelchair-accessible and fully fenced to keep larger wildlife out. All the nearby suites are raised on timber decks with a clean, modern design, a private terrace and classic décor inspired by the African wilderness. Inside it sports luxurious fittings and fixtures, air conditioning, high quality linen and simple elegance in neutral colours where you can unwind.
Senalala offers an atmosphere of simple luxury a world apart from everyday life and is ideal if you look for a special lifetime experience, or to share a special event. Senalala Safari Lodge can only accommodate up to 12 people in six spacious king chalets (of which two can convert to twin chalets). All chalets focus on privacy, luxury, and relaxation, are decorated in a simplistic but stylish way that reflects the surrounding bush and have a large en-suite bathroom with a free standing bath and shower.
Departing from the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport Bus Terminal by 07:00am, travel eastwards via the N4 motorway through the Highveld of Gauteng and Mpumalanga, to the Klaserie Private Game Reserve in Limpopo.
The drive may take about six to seven hours, during which you will stop for refreshments to reach the lodge around mid-day.
You will have time to freshen up and relax and depart on an open safari vehicle for your first afternoon game drive in the reserve. After sunset you will return to the lodge where dinner will be ready.
You overnight in your luxury accommodation at Senalala Safari Lodge and your lodging includes lunch and dinner.Â
Get up early to enjoy a hot beverage and rusks before departing on the first game drive of the day to catch the sun rising and hopefully some nocturnal animals still out hunting.
You will return to the lodge for a late breakfast and can spend the rest of the day lazing around.
Your afternoon game drive will depart at about 16:00 and return after sunset just in time for another scrumptious dinner under the African skies.
You overnight in your luxury accommodation at Senalala Safari Lodge and your deal includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.Â
On the last day of your stay you will get another early wake-up call, enjoy your hot beverage and rusks, and depart on the final game drive.
After experiencing another African sunrise, you return to the lodge for breakfast before departing to Johannesburg. You will arrive at your drop-off point around 17:00.
Your deal today includes breakfast at the lodge.
