Londolozi Pioneer Camp gives a new definition to the concept of a luxury five star safari lodge. As the most secluded of the Londolozi Camps, Pioneer Camp offers only three private suites with clean, modern and sophisticated lines sporting floor to ceiling glass-sliding panels to frame the wilderness views beyond. Full classic Victorian bathrooms with modern accents in marble, chrome and mahogany include outdoor showers and the suites boast king size extra length beds, air-conditioning, fans, mosquito nets, minibar and outdoor private plunge pools. The central guest areas comprises an open-plan kitchen that leads to the indoor and deck dining areas, comfortable living areas, a boma and lap pool.

Itinerary

DAY 1: Johannesburg – Londolozi Pioneer Camp

You are collected from your address in Johannesburg early in the morning and will journey via the N4 motorway eastwards through the Highveld of Gauteng and Mpumalanga, down the escarpment and into the scenic Lowveld until you reach the reserve in the Greater Kruger National Park.

During the long 6 hours’ drive you will stop for refreshments and reach the lodge around mid-day.

You will have time to freshen up and relax before departing on an open safari vehicle for your first afternoon game drive.

Back at the lodge a delicious dinner under African skies will await you.

You overnight in your luxury accommodation at Londolozi Pioneer Camp and your deal includes lunch and dinner. 

DAY 2,3 and 4: Londolozi Pioneer Camp

After an early wake-up call you will be served a hot beverage and rusks before departing on your 3-hour game drive.

On return to the lodge you can enjoy a brunch and choose to spend the rest of the day at your discretion. Be ready for an afternoon game drive with an expert guide at about 16:00, to return in time for another starlit dinner.

You overnight in your luxury accommodation at Londolozi Pioneer Camp and your deal includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. 

DAY 5: Londolozi Pioneer Camp – Johannesburg

Rise early again, enjoy a hot beverage and rusk, and depart on your last morning game drive.

After witnessing a last African sunrise, you return to the lodge for breakfast before departing to Johannesburg. You will arrive at your drop-off point at approximately 17:00.

Your deal today includes breakfast at the lodge.
