Sable Camp is an elegant, African themed location with air-conditioned lounge or library area with satellite television and DVD player, dining room, safari bar, expansive wooden safari deck, filtered swimming pool overlooking the Sand River and a traditional reed “boma” for evening meals. MalaMala Game Reserve was the first privately owned and commercially operated game reserve in South Africa and became the benchmark for the luxury safari industry in Southern Africa. Sable Camp is located next to MalaMala Camp, with beautiful views of the Sand River and surrounding bushveld. The reserve shares an unfenced boundary with the world-famous Kruger National Park (KNP) and has 20 kms (13 miles) of Sand River frontage, which makes the river the focus of MalaMala’s wildlife experience because it draws many animals all year round.
Together with Shishangeni Private Lodge and Camp Shawu, Camp Shonga forms part of a trio managed by BON Hotels. It is situated in a private concession in the Kruger National Park, with the perennial Crocodile River to the south and Mozambique in the east forming its borders.
Spend 4 Nights at the Bundox Explores Lodge in the heart of the Balule Private Game Reserve. The Lodge is small, simple, naturally luxurious and authentic safari.
