Kambaku River Sands is situated along the banks of a dry riverbed in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, which lies on the western edge of the Kruger National Park in South Africa’s Limpopo province.
In the Motlala Reserve, The Kruger Safari Co presents the Sekekama Tented Camp, offering well-equipped glamping at an affordable rate. Knowledgeable guides lead wildlife drives in comfortable open-air game viewing vehicles, providing an immersive experience.
Sekekama Tented Camp offers exceptional value for money with fully solar-powered tents or cottages that provide all the comforts of home, including beds, linens, towels, and more. The camp features a communal area designed for dining, socializing, and relaxation, along with game drives. The package includes round-trip road transfers from Johannesburg, a sunset safari drive in a 4×4 vehicle, a full-day guided safari in Kruger National Park, a guided bush walk, one night’s accommodation in a safari lodge, and two nights in a treehouse.
A welcoming ambience of laid back luxury awaits guests at Dulini Lodge. The main lodge boasts tranquil lounging areas with deep couches and contemporary African accents and a cool veranda with views of the wilderness beyond. Spacious accommodation is provided in six exquisite thatched suites on the banks of the riverbed, each with private plunge pools and a private view of the riverbed, romantic interiors with canopies of mosquito nets and beautiful bathrooms.
You will be collected from your address in Johannesburg early in the morning to travel eastwards via the N4 through the Highveld of Gauteng and Mpumalanga, down the escarpment and into the western part of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve.
During the drive of about six hours, you will stop for refreshments and reach the lodge around mid-day.
You will have time to freshen up and relax before departing on an open safari vehicle for an afternoon game drive in the reserve.
Back at the lodge a delicious dinner will await you.
You overnight in your luxury accommodation at Dulini Lodge and your deal includes lunch and dinner.Â
Expect early wake-up calls and enjoy a hot beverage and rusks before departing on your game drive to catch some nocturnal animals still out hunting, and witness the sun rising.
On return to the lodge you can enjoy a late breakfast and choose to spend the rest of the day lazing around.
Get your camera ready for the afternoon game drive, which will depart at about 16:00, and return just in time for dinner under African skies.

On the last day of your safari you rise early again, enjoy your hot beverage and rusk, and depart on the final game drive.
After experiencing another African sunrise, you return to the lodge for breakfast before departing to Johannesburg. You will arrive at your drop-off point at approximately 17:00.
