3 Day Khoka Moya Tented Lodge Safari

Honeyguide Khoka Moya Camp is the Manyeleti Game Reserve’s family-friendly escape designed in a traditional African camp style. Khoka Moya is situated on both sides of a riverbed and offers an authentic bush experience without sacrificing luxury, safety or comfort. The reception area at Khoka Moya Camp is constructed from recycled wood and thatch and houses a locally crafted curio shop and the main dining area, lounge and bar area is designed to resemble the pioneer-dwellings of the early gold prospectors. Outside is an inviting pool set amidst lush lawns, a bird hide and the 15 spacious, free-standing tents. 3 Day Londolozi Tree Camp Safari

True to its name, the camp is raised on stilts among Jackalberry and Leadwood trees to overlook the Sand River and suites are reached by elevated, lantern lit walkways. All are elegantly decorated to merge with the surrounding environment, and the luxurious suites have spacious bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers, king-size beds with mosquito nets, air-conditioning and fans, private lounge areas with minibar and a private deck with a plunge pool.

Overview

The main lodge boasts tranquil lounging areas with deep couches and contemporary African accents and a cool veranda with views of the wilderness beyond. Spacious accommodation is provided in six exquisite thatched suites on the banks of the riverbed, each with private plunge pools and a private view of the riverbed, romantic interiors with canopies of mosquito nets and beautiful bathrooms.

Itinerary

DAY 1: Johannesburg – Dulini Lodge

You will be collected from your address in Johannesburg early in the morning to travel eastwards via the N4 through the Highveld of Gauteng and Mpumalanga, down the escarpment and into the western part of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve.

During the drive of about six hours, you will stop for refreshments and reach the lodge around mid-day.

You will have time to freshen up and relax before departing on an open safari vehicle for an afternoon game drive in the reserve.

Back at the lodge a delicious dinner will await you.

You overnight in your luxury accommodation at Dulini Lodge and your deal includes lunch and dinner. 

DAY 2,3 and 4: Dulini Lodge

Expect early wake-up calls and enjoy a hot beverage and rusks before departing on your game drive to catch some nocturnal animals still out hunting, and witness the sun rising.

On return to the lodge you can enjoy a late breakfast and choose to spend the rest of the day lazing around.

Get your camera ready for the afternoon game drive, which will depart at about 16:00, and return just in time for dinner under African skies.

You overnight in your luxury accommodation at Dulini Lodge and your deal includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. 

DAY 5: Dulini Lodge – Johannesburg

On the last day of your safari you rise early again, enjoy your hot beverage and rusk, and depart on the final game drive.

After experiencing another African sunrise, you return to the lodge for breakfast before departing to Johannesburg. You will arrive at your drop-off point at approximately 17:00.

Your deal today includes breakfast at the lodge.
