Tshokwane River Camp is a unique and exclusive place hidden in an undiscovered part of the world-famous Kruger National Park only an hour from Skukuza Airport.
It has 30 luxury tents that can sleep up to 60 people. The rustic and exclusive atmosphere of the camp, which is next to a dry riverbed, gives tourists a chance to forget about the outside world and focus on the beauty of the wild.
The Lodge only open for a limited time from the 01st July 2023 – 30th September 2023 and then again from the 01st May 2024 – 30th September 2024.
Senalala offers an atmosphere of simple luxury a world apart from everyday life and is ideal if you look for a special lifetime experience, or to share a special event. Senalala Safari Lodge can only accommodate up to 12 people in six spacious king chalets (of which two can convert to twin chalets). All chalets focus on privacy, luxury, and relaxation, are decorated in a simplistic but stylish way that reflects the surrounding bush and have a large en-suite bathroom with a free standing bath and shower.
The lodge sleeps a maximum of 20 guests in 10 chalets or rooms, most of which sporting a small veranda with camping chairs and with views of the river, while others have views of a small plains area with a watering hole. Accommodation is comfortable and suitable for those looking for a value for money option in the Sabi Sand. All rooms are en-suite and airconditioned. Some rooms are set up to allow families or small parties of three friends with separate but connected rooms. Umkumbe has three Standard and seven Superior rooms, with the latter larger with outdoor en-suite showers.
Umlani Bush Camp accommodates guests in traditional African reed and thatch huts as well as an Eco Rondavel, all naturally blending with the environment and providing modern comforts. All the accommodation options have comfortable beds, crisp white linen, soft towels, mosquito netting, insect repellent and en-suite open-air bush showers as well as standard bathroom amenities. They also offer complimentary bottled water, although the tap water is perfectly safe to drink. The rest of the camp offers a gift shop for souvenirs and a traditional African boma/dining room serving award winning meals, a pristine pool to cool you down on hot days, a bush bar and deck overlooking the nearby waterhole and an exclusive tree house 1.5 kms away from the camp for bush sleepouts.
