A welcoming ambience of laid back luxury awaits guests at Dulini Lodge. The main lodge boasts tranquil lounging areas with deep couches and contemporary African accents and a cool veranda with views of the wilderness beyond. Spacious accommodation is provided in six exquisite thatched suites on the banks of the riverbed, each with private plunge pools and a private view of the riverbed, romantic interiors with canopies of mosquito nets and beautiful bathrooms.
True to its name, the camp is raised on stilts among Jackalberry and Leadwood trees to overlook the Sand River and suites are reached by elevated, lantern lit walkways. All are elegantly decorated to merge with the surrounding environment, and the luxurious suites have spacious bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers, king-size beds with mosquito nets, air-conditioning and fans, private lounge areas with minibar and a private deck with a plunge pool.
Umlani Bush Camp accommodates guests in traditional African reed and thatch huts as well as an Eco Rondavel, all naturally blending with the environment and providing modern comforts. All the accommodation options have comfortable beds, crisp white linen, soft towels, mosquito netting, insect repellent and en-suite open-air bush showers as well as standard bathroom amenities. They also offer complimentary bottled water, although the tap water is perfectly safe to drink.
The Kruger National Park is one of the world’s premier nature reserves, and you will spend a significant amount of time exploring it during this three-day safari.Â
This safari allows clients to see more of the Kruger and different areas.Â
A full day in the Kruger National Park may sound exhausting, but the guides make frequent stops at rest stops and lookout points. As you travel through different grasslands and ecological zones, you will have a better chance of seeing more wildlife.
Your four-day itinerary will include a sunset / night safari on day 1, 2 full-day open vehicle safaris on day 2 and 3, and a morning safari in Kruger National Park on day 4.
On 4-day safaris, your chances are very good to see all of the Big 5 – lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo.
The Kruger National Park is home to 148 mammal and 500 bird species. So there’s a lot to see and photograph.
