Umlani Bush Camp accommodates guests in traditional African reed and thatch huts as well as an Eco Rondavel, all naturally blending with the environment and providing modern comforts. All the accommodation options have comfortable beds, crisp white linen, soft towels, mosquito netting, insect repellent and en-suite open-air bush showers as well as standard bathroom amenities. They also offer complimentary bottled water, although the tap water is perfectly safe to drink.
Departing from the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport Bus Terminal by 07:00am, travel eastwards via the N4 motorway through Gauteng and Mpumalanga, down the escarpment and into the Timbavati Game Reserve near Hoedspruit in the Limpopo province.
The drive may take six or more hours, during which you will stop for refreshments. You will reach the camp around mid-day.
You will have time to freshen up and relax and depart on an open safari vehicle for your first afternoon game drive in the reserve. After watching the sun set you will return to the lodge where a delicious dinner will be ready.
You overnight in your luxury accommodation at Umlani Bush Camp and your lodging includes lunch and dinner.Â
Get your wake-up call early each morning to enjoy a hot beverage and rusks before departing on the first game drive of the day. You leave at dawn to catch some nocturnal animals still out hunting, and witness the sun rising.
You will return to the lodge to enjoy a late breakfast and can spend the rest of the day lazing around and relaxing in the tranquillity of the bush. There is always a ranger on stand-by for an optional morning bush walk.
Your afternoon game drive will depart at about 16:00 and return after sunset just in time for dinner under the African skies.

On the last day of your stay you will get another early wake-up call, enjoy your hot beverage and rusks, and depart on the final game drive.
