Kambaku Safari Lodge is nestled around a private waterhole allows for animal sightings at any time of the day. With no more than sixteen guests at a time Kambaku is a private and exclusive experience. With Big 5 game viewing, lazy afternoons at the pool and dinners around an open fire Kambaku is the quintessential safari holiday.

Thatched chalets with four poster beds draped with white linen and mosquito nets create a romantic atmosphere. The chalets are constructed of mainly organic materials and are decorated with taste and quality. With only eight chalets Kambaku Lodge offers an exclusive experience. Each chalet overlooks the private waterhole.

  • Family suites
  • With a double bed

Kambaku Safari Lodge is situated in one of the world’s most renowned wilderness areas. Sightings of the Big 5 and many other species in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve and the adjacent Kruger National Park make for excellent photographic opportunities and memorable wildlife encounters. When the African sun is at its hottest, cool down at the pool with a cocktail or relax in one of the many private spaces of the lodge.

The rustic ambience and eco-friendly attitude of Kambaku Safari Lodge creates a luxurious retreat that blends into the famous natural environment of the Greater Kruger National Park. Shaped around a private waterhole, Kambaku enjoys beautiful vistas and game sightings from the chalets as well as from the communal areas.

Meals are mostly served outdoors on the veranda or in the boma. The boma is centred on a fire that provides heat during scrumptious bush dinners. After sunset the stars of the Southern Hemisphere sparkle brightly, which is just another natural asset of Kambaku Lodge.
