This renowned three-day economical tree house safari presents guests with a genuine safari adventure, where they stay in a unique treehouse located within a private camp situated in Motlala Game Reserve. Covering 3,000 hectares, this reserve is dedicated to wildlife conservation and is part of the Greater Kruger region, conveniently located less than an hour’s drive from the renowned Kruger National Park.
The 4-day Imbali safari tour takes guests to the heart of the Kruger National Park to the Mluwati Concession. Imbali Safari Lodge is one of three luxury safari lodges in the private concession and promises guests luxurious accommodation in a spectacular setting and an outstanding safari experience. The private concessions within the iconic Kruger National Park are areas of land where carefully selected operators have a license to offer all the benefits of a luxury safari lodge on a private reserve. Guests staying at Imbali Lodge are taken on game drives in an open safari vehicle within the private concession and have access to the public roads of Kruger Park.
The thatched main area speaks of sophistication in the design and layout, and overlooks a waterhole and riverbed often visited by elephants, buffalo and other large game. The classic lower deck is flanked by an open dining area and a beautiful bar while 20 luxurious suites fan out from the main area. Two of them are family Suites, while 18 of them is built with magnificent river-facing views. All are totally private and stylishly decorated with large windows above the bath and giant sliding doors to the deck offering incredible views of the riverbed and animals that may visit. Each of the 18 luxury suites has an en-suite bathroom, indoor and outdoor shower and was designed to provide space and privacy. Elegant finishes and extremely comfortable beds complete the picture.
Join us on a full day (9 hours) private, guided, open-vehicle safari drive into the Kruger National Park from any hotel or address in Hazyview. Enjoy the time with your safari guide in search of the Big 5 (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant) as well as many other animals that inhabit the national park. Please note that all rates exclude the daily conservation fees of R460.00 per person.
Hamiltons Tented Camp is an exclusive safari destination located in northern Mpumalanga Province on a 10 000 hectare private concession in the iconic Kruger National Park. It’s named after Colonel Stephenson Hamilton who was instrumental in establishing the national park which is the oldest and largest one in Africa. Hamiltons Tented Camp captures the romance and elegance of the pioneering safari era with its themed ‘Out of Africa’ décor. Luxurious features include antique hip baths, an outdoor shower, dreamy beds draped in breezy mosquito nets, cooling air-conditioning and warm fires in winter as well as Nomadic African spa treatments which you can have in the comfort of your safari tent. Dining at Hamiltons Tented Camp is a decadent affair, complete with fine crystal wine glasses, pewter silver water jugs and elegantly-dressed butlers waiting attentively on you.
Departing from the Johannesburg OR Tambo at mid-day on a 50min flight to the Hoedspruit Airport. The flight route to the Kruger National Park in the Mpumalanga Province takes you over the wide-open spaces of the Highveld, down the escarpment and through the scenic Lowveld region.
Arrive mid-day at the Hoedspruit Airport and be transferred by road to the Hamilton’s Tented Camp, enjoy a light lunch and relax around the camp before it’s time to depart for a late afternoon game drive in the Mluwati Concession. Return to camp as the sun is setting and enjoy a 3-course dinner at the fine-dining restaurant.

Wake up early for hot beverages and breakfast pastries before it’s time to depart for the morning Big 5 game drive. Your professional game ranger has the option of staying within Mluwati Concession which may only be traversed by safari lodges operating in the private concession, or venturing further for incredible wildlife and bird sightings in the rest of Kruger Park.
Return to camp for a late breakfast and an afternoon of relaxation around the pool or pampering in the comfort of your safari tent. Enjoy a light lunch and High Tea at the main lodge and be ready to depart late afternoon for a game drive. Dinner is served back at the camp.

Wake up early for tea and coffee and then depart for a sunrise safari tour of the Mluwati Concession. Enjoy a light breakfast back at Hamilton’s Tented Camp before checking out of your Tent.
You’ll be driven to the Hoedspruit airport mid-morning to catch your departure flight back to the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport.
