The first upscale tented camp that is open seasonally in Kruger National Park. From July to the end of September 2023, this camp will offer an unimagined highlight for Kruger Park fans who want to get closer to nature.
Tshokwane River Camp is a unique and exclusive place hidden in an undiscovered part of the world-famous Kruger National Park only an hour from Skukuza Airport.
It has 30 luxury tents that can sleep up to 60 people. The rustic and exclusive atmosphere of the camp, which is next to a dry riverbed, gives tourists a chance to forget about the outside world and focus on the beauty of the wild.
The Lodge only open for a limited time from the 01st July 2023 – 30th September 2023 and then again from the 01st May 2024 – 30th September 2024.
MalaMala Camp is an unfenced oasis in the middle of the bush. The camp became legendary with rare photographs, old maps and extraordinary mementos rubbing shoulders with the work of renowned contemporary wildlife artists. Camp facilities include a lounge area, an elegant, air-conditioned African themed dining room, the iconic “Buffalo Bar” with photographs portraying the early days of MalaMala, a large wooden safari deck under a Jackalberry tree and a large filtered infinity pool overlooking the Sand River.

Embark on an unforgettable 5-day safari adventure at the Kruger Gate Hotel, where you’ll discover the wonders of the Kruger National Park. From the moment you step off your private transfer from Johannesburg, you’ll be immersed in the beauty and thrill of the African wilderness.
Upon arrival at the Kruger Gate Hotel, you’ll be greeted warmly and settle into your comfortable accommodation. Get ready to embark on an afternoon private safari drive, guided by an experienced safari expert. As you traverse the park, be prepared to encounter the majestic Big Five and an array of other wildlife species. Your guide will share their knowledge about the animals, plants, and ecosystems, ensuring a rich and educational safari experience.
The following 3 days brings a full day of safari exploration. After a delicious group breakfast, set off on an extended private safari drive, covering different areas of the Kruger National Park. Marvel at the vast landscapes, spot elusive creatures, and capture stunning photographs. Take a break for a picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature.
For your final day, you have the option to embark on an additional private safari drive or choose from various activities available at the hotel. Indulge in a spa treatment, take a dip in the pool, or simply relax amidst the natural beauty surrounding you. Reflect on the incredible wildlife encounters and unforgettable moments you’ve experienced throughout your safari.
As your safari draws to a close, a private transfer will take you back to Johannesburg, allowing you to reminisce about your extraordinary journey. The group meals provided at the hotel’s restaurant create an opportunity to bond with fellow travelers, sharing stories and experiences from your safari expeditions.
Bayete Guest Lodge Victoria Falls offers comfortable and affordable accommodation in the heart of the Victoria Falls residential area. It is the flag ship and first lodge in the Bayete Collection.
Bayete Guest Lodge is a family run lodge which offers 30 rooms set in a lush tropical garden. Central to the lodge is the large teardrop swimming pool, which is hugged by the Dining Boma and Bar. The Tavern is steeped in history and character and is central to the communal area where guests are welcomed to gather, have refreshments and socialise.
Day 1:
Upon your arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Bayete Guest Lodge. Sit back and relax during a comfortable transfer to the lodge, enjoying the scenic beauty and vibrant atmosphere of the area.
Arrive at Bayete Guest Lodge and proceed with a smooth check-in process. Settle into your charming accommodation and take a moment to unwind and appreciate the tranquil surroundings.
Later in the afternoon, embark on a guided Dinner Sunset Cruise along the Zambezi River. Cruise leisurely along the river, marveling at the stunning sunset casting its golden hues over the water. Indulge in refreshing drinks and savor a delicious dinner as you soak in the serenity and natural beauty of the river and its surroundings.
Return to the lodge and enjoy a delightful dinner, relishing the flavors of a carefully prepared meal.
Day 2:
Start your day with a delicious breakfast served at the lodge’s restaurant. Energize yourself for a day filled with exploration and wonder.
Join a guided tour of the magnificent Victoria Falls, one of the world’s most breathtaking natural wonders. Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, walk along the rainforest trails, learning about the history, geology, and significance of the falls. Experience the sheer power and awe-inspiring beauty of the cascading water as you explore different viewpoints and feel the mist on your skin. Capture memorable photographs and immerse yourself in the grandeur of the falls.
After the tour, you have the option to further explore the falls at your own pace or engage in optional activities such as a helicopter ride, a visit to the Victoria Falls Bridge, or a wildlife safari (additional charges may apply). Alternatively, you can choose to relax at the lodge, enjoying its facilities and the tranquil atmosphere.
In the evening, relish another delightful dinner at the lodge’s restaurant, savoring the flavors of a carefully crafted menu.
Day 3:
Today marks the end of your stay at Bayete Guest Lodge. After breakfast, take some time to enjoy the serene surroundings and the lodge’s amenities.
Check out of the lodge, bidding farewell to the friendly staff who have made your stay memorable. You will be transferred back to Victoria Falls Airport, where you can catch your departure flight.
