The private concessions within the iconic Kruger National Park are areas of land where carefully selected operators have a license to offer all the benefits of a luxury safari lodge on a private reserve. Guests staying at Hoyo Hoyo Tsonga Lodge enjoy game drives in an open safari vehicle within the private concession as well as the Kruger Park itself. Glorious days at Hoyo Hoyo Tsonga Lodge are spent exploring the vast wilderness region on sunrise and sunset game drives and enjoying hours of relaxation and pampering back at the lodge, as well as a magical “sofa safari” from the privacy of their own viewing deck.
Londolozi Founder’s Camp is an enchanting intimate and child friendly lodge comprising seven warm and inspiring chalets, all of them equipped with en-suite bathrooms with a shower and bath. Each suite has its own wooden deck from which to enjoy the African wilderness and view of the Sand river and roaming game.
Honeyguide Khoka Moya Camp is the Manyeleti Game Reserve’s family-friendly escape designed in a traditional African camp style. Khoka Moya is situated on both sides of a riverbed and offers an authentic bush experience without sacrificing luxury, safety or comfort. The reception area at Khoka Moya Camp is constructed from recycled wood and thatch and houses a locally crafted curio shop and the main dining area, lounge and bar area is designed to resemble the pioneer-dwellings of the early gold prospectors. Outside is an inviting pool set amidst lush lawns, a bird hide and the 15 spacious, free-standing tents. The camp is very child friendly with children’s activities like full game drives, junior tracking and more.
Camp Shawu is the epitome of that picture of the ‘real Africa’ painted by famous explorers during colonial times.
The suites are built out of authentic Buffalo dung walls and have decks overlooking the dam where many animals come down to drink during the day. Guests can experience excellent game viewing from the decks of the camp and can go on game viewing drives with expert guides.
Departing from the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport Bus Terminal by 07:00am and will travel via the N4 motorway through the Highveld of Gauteng and Mpumalanga, down the escarpment and into the scenic Lowveld until you reach the reserve in the south eastern part of the Greater Kruger National Park.
During the long 6 hours’ drive you will stop along the road for refreshments and reach the lodge around mid-day. You will have time to freshen up and relax before departing on an open safari vehicle for your first afternoon game drive in the reserve.
Back at the lodge a delicious dinner under African stars will await you.
You overnight in your luxury suite at Camp Shawu and your deal includes lunch and dinner.
You will receive an early wake-up call and be served a hot beverage and rusks before departing on your 3-hour game drive to watch the sun rises in the east and catch some nocturnal animals still out on the hunt.
On return to the lodge you can enjoy a brunch and choose to spend the rest of the day at the pool or just lazing around.
Be ready for an exciting afternoon game drive and sunset with an expert guide from about 16:00, to return in time for another starlit dinner.

Rise early again, enjoy your hot beverage and rusk, and depart on your last morning game drive.
After witnessing a last African sunrise, you will return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast before departing to Johannesburg. You will arrive at your drop-off point at approximately 17:00.
