Accommodation

Rhino Post Safari Lodge is built from organic materials. The luxurious structure of stone, wood, thatch and canvas blend into the environment and provides a warm and comforting atmosphere for guests. All suites boast an elevated view of the Mutlumuvi Riverbed. Built on tall stilts above the river the suites are laid out in an open plan style with a free-standing bath, indoor and outdoor showers, a separate toilet and his and hers basin. Wooden floors and organic materials throughout the lodge give the suites a natural feel and mosaics on the floor add some individuality.

Activities

Morning and afternoon game drives start before breakfast and after high tea. Set in a 12 000 hectare private concession with qualified and experienced guides Rhino Post game drives are safe, informative and absolutely thrilling. In addition to the large private concession the lodge has exclusive use of some of Kruger National Park’s main roads after the gates closed. Evening game drives hence become park become particularly rewarding as all self-drive vehicles have left the park.

Sleep Outs

Rhino Post Safari Lodge offers sleep outs under the African stars, which are always a unique and memorable experience. Evening game drives are extended the sleep out spot, where raised wooden platforms create a safe place to lay your head among the sounds of nature. Enjoy sundowners, while a guide prepares a mouth-watering meal on the fire. With no electricity or other distractions you can sit around the fire and then fall asleep to the song of the African bush.
