Londolozi Founder’s Camp is an enchanting intimate and child friendly lodge comprising seven warm and inspiring chalets, all of them equipped with en-suite bathrooms with a shower and bath. Each suite has its own wooden deck from which to enjoy the African wilderness and view of the Sand river and roaming game.
Khoka Moya Tented Camp has a reception with curio shop, main dining, lounge and bar area, pool, a renovated bird hide and 15 free-standing tents. The lounge, dining and bar areas are built around an open atrium where al fresco evening meals are served around a log fire. The en-suite tents are spacious and comfortably furnished in a contemporary style with either double or twin canopied beds fitted with fine cotton sheets and down duvets. Tents have double showers and separate toilets, a large sofa, a writing desk and a fan with an outside deck.
Honeyguide Khoka Moya Camp is the Manyeleti Game Reserve’s family-friendly escape designed in a traditional African camp style. Khoka Moya is situated on both sides of a riverbed and offers an authentic bush experience without sacrificing luxury, safety or comfort. The reception area at Khoka Moya Camp is constructed from recycled wood and thatch and houses a locally crafted curio shop and the main dining area, lounge and bar area is designed to resemble the pioneer-dwellings of the early gold prospectors. Outside is an inviting pool set amidst lush lawns, a bird hide and the 15 spacious, free-standing tents. The camp is very child friendly with children’s activities like full game drives, junior tracking and more.
Umlani Bush Camp accommodates guests in traditional African reed and thatch huts as well as an Eco Rondavel, all naturally blending with the environment and providing modern comforts. All the accommodation options have comfortable beds, crisp white linen, soft towels, mosquito netting, insect repellent and en-suite open-air bush showers as well as standard bathroom amenities. They also offer complimentary bottled water, although the tap water is perfectly safe to drink. The rest of the camp offers a gift shop for souvenirs and a traditional African boma/dining room serving award winning meals, a pristine pool to cool you down on hot days, a bush bar and deck overlooking the nearby waterhole and an exclusive tree house 1.5 kms away from the camp for bush sleepouts.
Embark on a 6-day safari adventure in Kruger National Park. Day 1 starts with a transfer to a comfortable chalet in Pretoriuskop rest camp, followed by an afternoon safari and dinner under the stars. Day 1 – Johannesburg – Pretoriouskop Rest CampÂ
Your safari adventure begins with a collection from the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport bus terminal at 07:00. From there, you will be transferred to a comfortable en-suite chalet located in the enchanting Pretoriuskop rest camp. Take some time to settle in before embarking on an afternoon open vehicle safari, immersing yourself in the sights and sounds of the African bush. As the day comes to a close, indulge in a memorable dinner under the starry night sky.
Day 2 – Full Day Open Vehicle Safari DriveÂ
Prepare for a full day of exploration in the world-famous Kruger National Park. Depart on a thrilling open vehicle safari, accompanied by a delicious breakfast enjoyed en route. As you journey through the park, keep a keen eye out for the diverse wildlife that calls this place home. Lunch will be at your own expense, offering the flexibility to choose your dining preferences. After an eventful day, return to the comfort of the Pretoriuskop rest camp and enjoy a flavorful dinner.
Day 3 – Morning Safari drive and transfer to the Greenfire Game LodgeÂ
Pack your belongings and prepare for another thrilling morning open vehicle safari drive in the national park. Before bidding farewell to the stunning Pretoriuskop, indulge in a satisfying breakfast amidst the scenic surroundings. From here, your journey takes you north on the outskirts of the national park to the Greenfire game lodge, located around 120km away. Situated in the Balule private game reserve, forming part of the Greater Kruger National Park, the Greenfire lodge offers a unique and immersive experience. Upon arrival, check into the lodge nestled within this pristine wilderness and relish a refreshing light lunch. In the afternoon, set out on another exciting off-road open vehicle safari drive. The off-road experience provides the opportunity to view animals up close and personal, with a limited number of vehicles allowed per sighting. Conclude the day with a delectable dinner, savoring the flavors while surrounded by the sounds of the wild.
Day 4 & 5 – Morning and Afternoon safari drivesÂ
Immerse yourself in the magic of the African bush with morning and afternoon safari drives from the comfort of the Greenfire lodge. With expert guides, witness incredible wildlife sightings and embrace the awe-inspiring landscapes that surround you. Throughout the day, all your meals will be thoughtfully provided, allowing you to focus on the unforgettable safari experiences that await.
Day 6 – Morning safari drive and return to JohannesburgÂ
Make the most of your final day on safari with a memorable morning safari drive, followed by a delicious breakfast. After bidding farewell to the Greenfire lodge, depart for Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport, where you can expect to arrive between 17:30 and 18:00. Relish the remaining moments of your safari adventure as you reflect on the incredible encounters and unforgettable memories created throughout your five-day journey.
