Upon arrival at Hoedspruit, a road transfer will take guests directly to the lodge. Additionally, private charters are available to the lodge’s private airstrip, with transfers provided from the airstrip to the accommodation.
By Road
From Johannesburg or Pretoria, the lodge can be reached by car in about 6 hours. Travellers should use the N12 or N4 highway to get to White River and Nelspruit, and then take the R40 to get to Hazyview. At the T-junction in Hazyview, turn left, and at the second set of lights, turn right to join the R536 that leads to the Paul Kruger Gate.
After you cross the Saringwa River and travel for about 35 km, look for signs that say “Huntington, Lilydale & Justicia” and Private Game Lodges. Turn left on to this gravel road, continue for 9 km and turn right at the sign that reads “Private Game Lodges.” Proceed 3 km further and turn left at the next “Private Game Lodges” sign.
After 1 km, you will reach the Newington Gate, where you must pay an entrance fee. Once you have passed the gate, drive through the Sabi Sand Game Reserve and follow the directions for approximately 14 km to arrive at the lodge.
