Sabi Sabi Game Reserve forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park and is the choice of discerning guests from all over the world. The reserve is a wildlife oasis where game abounds, with the surrounding habitat home to the Big 5 – lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant – as well as cheetah, wild dog and some 200 other indigenous animal species. Selati Camp is furnished according to a railway theme due to a historic branch railway from the interior to Delagoa Bay in Mozambique, known as the Selati Line, crossed the Sabi Sand Reserve many years ago. The railway theme includes original steam engine name plates, signals and shunter’s lamps lighting the way to interesting memorabilia and collector’s pieces in each suite. Children are welcome to stay at Selati Camp when the lodge is booked on an exclusive-use basis.
